I di not know Peter very well but he was always kind and caring whenever I on rare occasions get to a meeting as a friend of Headway , and very kind advice when my friend had an accident with head injury in America , he was one of life's Givers ,not a taker ! and although the world is a poorer place for his passing , I for one had my life enriched by knowing him the small bit I did . .

I knew Peter for the past 18 years, both professionally and as a dear friend.
Peter had exceptional people skills and put the needs of others before his own.
Peter endured great personal tragedies in his life, which although very close to home did not prevent him actively seek the support and needs for survivors of brain injury.
I will cherish my memories of this true gentleman.

It was an honour to meet such a kind and caring person. He really was a true gentleman and an inspiration to us all.

It was clear how much Peter cared for all of the members and everyone who he came across. He was happy to help wherever he could and was completely dedicated to Headway North Derbyshire. We hope to do you proud in the future and we will continue to share stories about you to our new members and celebrate all of your achievements. You will be truly missed.

Peter, was a true hero, selfless, courageous and supportive. I hope he knows how much of a positive influence he made to everyone who had the honour to call him a friend. A man who dedicated his retirement to supporting others! One of lifes true gentlemen. We will do our best to make you proud in HND. Rest easy Peter.

It was an absolute privilege to work alongside Peter as a volunteer with Headway for many years. He was selflessly devoted to the Chesterfield/ Derbyshire branch and never stopped caring for others. I have no doubt that he will leave a huge legacy locally and with all who's lives he touched. Its such a shame that I hadn't seen him for a while, but what a great day he had with Headway when he was presented with one of their national awards. RIP.

Peter you were a true gentleman in every aspect of your life. In the time I knew you I have tremendous respect towards you. You have set the benchmark on how men should be.
