We have so many happy memories of fun, laughter and friendship from the 1980’s. Rick was a great person and we are honoured to have known him.

Uncle Rick, we have so many fond and fun memories of spending time with you. From when I was growing up and then with Alfie as he grew up. Walking closely behind me after a man pinched my bum in Covent Garden when I was a teenager, getting me and my friend into Ministry of Sound, spinning dicky bows on NYE and challenging Alfie to eat chicken feet !! Just a few of the lovely memories 🧡 You will be missed in our family, lots of love and rest peacefully xx

Tears have fallen on the news of this tragic event. However, many giggles and laughs have been had with the inimitable Rick over the years. We hope that Nan and Sadie can rejoice in the fact that this fabulous friend was indeed a fabulous friend, as well as no doubt a fabulous hubby and papa. Lots of love RIP Rick. XX

Am horrified to discover, and only now Rick, that you were ashamed to be a Steven. We could have handled that. Otherwise, you were a lovely bloke, ace hairdresser and whipped away from us all far too soon. My warmest sympathies to Nan and Sadie and hope you find happier times ahead.

Rick - a quiet, unassuming non-judgemental Brother-in-law. At sometime or other all the inlaws have stayed with Rick Nan and Sadie and whether planned or a surprise visit Rick always made us feel welcome and comfortable. We all enjoyed his company and Rick's presence in our family will be sorely missed. Much love to Nan and Sadie.

Thanks Rick for the haircuts and friendship over the years. Evenings in the pub sharing passions and laughter will stay with us always.

We've loved Rick from the moment we saw him. And he's been with us every step of the way, cutting hair, dust, crap, rugs and everything good. We'll keep on keeping on with Sadie & Nan and everyone who shined alongside this diamond.
